The Cullet

The Sandwich Glass Museum's publication, the Cullet, is published in the Spring and Fall. This newsletter contains current information on upcoming exhibitions, special events, information on accessions, current calendar for the year and new offerings in the Museum Store.  Additionally, the Cullet includes a copy of The Acorn, the Membership newsletter, which has been reformatted to give the members an additional benefit. The Acorn remains, however, the same scholarly publication as in the past.

Engraved Jubilee Chalice, attributed to the Sandwich Co-operative Glass Company (1888-1891).  The Chalice was blown by John Louvet, threaded by Michael Grady, and engraved by John B. Vodon in 1889 in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the founding of theTown of Sandwich.  The Sandwich Co-operative Glass Company was started by Sandwich Glass workers upon the closure of the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company in 1888.
