Highland Street Foundation Announces its 8th Annual “Free Fun Fridays” at the Sandwich Glass Museum for Friday, July 21st.
The Sandwich Glass Museum is proud to participate with The Highland Street Foundation’s 8th annual “Free Fun Fridays” initiative, a summer program that opens doors at no cost to visitors to many of the most treasured cultural venues in Massachusetts of which the Sandwich Glass Museum is one! This year 80 museums and cultural institutions will participate in the program. From June through August , between five and seven venues will be open free-of-charge every Friday for 10 weeks this summer. On Friday, July 21, 2017, the Museum will be proud to welcome guests at no cost!
“We are thrilled to be part of Free Fun Fridays,” said Katie Campbell, director of the Sandwich Glass Museum in Sandwich. “We look forward to welcoming members of the public, many of who will be here for the first time.” Highland Street Foundation is honored to provide families with access to the very best cultural institutions across Massachusetts and deeply committed to engaging families on a cultural and intellectual level , providing ongoing enrichment opportunities for young people during summer vacation.
Established in 2009, “Free Fun Fridays” has drawn more than half a million visitors to its participating venues. Last year alone, the program saw 165,000 people and the Foundation hopes to reach more than 200,000 this year. This is a perfect opportunity for the community to experience the best that Massachusetts has to offer.
