The Sandwich Glass Museum is pleased to present “The Glass Artistry of Michael Egan/Green Mountain Glassworks” in its Contemporary Gallery, through October 30, 2023. Michael Egan, a Vermont native, has been working with glass for thirty-two years, continuing to perfect his craft and manifest his creative vision. Michael and his team are manipulating glass to manifest his creative vision. With only a few basic elements, silica sand, soda ash, and limestone, Michael uses intense heat to melt a clear base glass, which he then weaves into a tapestry of art and objects from the simplest vase to the most complex sculpture.
