Due to health and safety precautions the theater production is temporarily suspended. The Hirschmann Theater is currently displaying contemporary art works.

In 1825 Deming Jarves, an importer from Boston, took a generous inheritance and opened the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company in Sandwich, Massachusetts.  Inspired by its location, plentiful fuel source and proximity to the coast, the glass industry in Sandwich ushered in the Industrial Revolution to Cape Cod.

Learn of the joys and sorrows experienced during the 18th century and the challenges of operating a large and successful company in what was once an agricultural and fishing  village. Watch how the founder of the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company came to build his factory and produce the finest pressed glass the world had ever seen.

This 21 minute, critically acclaimed experience, brings history to life like you have never experienced before. The presentation runs every half-hour throughout the day.
