Toast to the Past

We all had a lovely evening last night at our final bicentennial celebration event of the year, "Toast to the Past". 

Our heartfelt thanks to Phoebe Carrai for an incredibly beautiful concert of Baroque cello music!

Thanks also to Cape Cod Beer and Plymouth Bay Winery for donating beer and wine.

Thanks to Margy O'Brien, Sid Hutter and Bonnie Lilienfeld for the engaging and informative museum tour,

and also to Mary Childs and John Kennan for their heartwarming speeches. The highlight of the evening was of course the actual toast, where we all raised our Sandwich Glass drinkware to in a Toast to the Past .. and to the future!

The mood was happy and festive. The event really highlighted for all of us how fortunate we are to have such a friendly and engaged community of supporters!

And a great big thank you to Madeline Little for the advance planning, the food, and the unobtrusive event flow management, to Julia Blakely for her gracious greeting of attendees, to Catherine Thomas for the flowers, and to Andy and Kate Snell, Beverly Tyrie, Linda Hill and Luke Gavoni for staying late to help out! 

A delightful time was had by all.
