Communications Assistant
Communications Assistant will work closely with the Executive Director, Education
Director and other Department leaders to:
- Create, maintain, and implement Social Media Calendar
- Create, maintain, and implement Press Release/Listings Calendar
- Design and send weekly informational newsletters
- Use Canva to create promotional materials
- Â Maintain email lists for communications
- Anticipate and implement public communications for upcoming
classes and events
- Work with Museum Team Leaders to strategize for enhanced
effective communication strategies
The ideal candidate is creative, communicative, and self-motivated
with organizational skills and the ability to anticipate potential
communication avenues.
This position requires clear and consistent communication with
Museum Staff, and can be a mix of remote and on-site, approximately
10 hrs per week.
