Calling all members of the Sandwich Historical Society: Our spring annual members' meeting is 5-5:30 on Friday April 17th. Business includes voting for the incoming slate of trustees.

Then at 5:30pm we throw open the doors to the general public for a scintillating presentation by virtuoso glassblower and earth scientist Josh Simpson on his current "Lunar Glass Structures" project, a NASA sponsored collaboration with architect Martin Bermudez. Amazing work by an inspired artist. Light refreshments will be served.

Imagine using one of the oldest of human materials to create the newest of human homes, extending the art of glass from the earth to the Moon. This idea is at the heart of a project Josh is actively exploring for NASA.
