Hours & Admission

Through Dec 30th we are open daily from 9:30 - 5, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission closes at 4:30.

Adult admission to the Museum's galleries and to see a glassblowing demonstration is $14. See Plan Your Visit for the full schedule of admission fees as well as other helpful info regarding accessibility, parking, seasonal hours, etc.

Visiting the Gift Shop is free and open to the public with no admission fee.

Bi-centennial Celebration

In 2025 the Sandwich Glass Museum of the Sandwich Historical Society is celebrating 200 years of glassmaking in Sandwich MA.

Exhibitions

In addition to our permanent collection we have several galleries devoted to special exhibitions that change seasonally. We are currently celebrating Sandwich painter Dodge Macknight in our Center Gallery through March 31st.

Glassblowing Demonstrations

Live 20 minute demonstrations of the art of glassblowing take place every hour on the hour, starting at 10 am.

Museum Gift Shop

Our spectacular Museum Gift Shop features contemporary hand blown glass made on site by our demo glassblowers and by other American glass artists. Much of the art we carry was made locally, as dozens of glassblowers have made Cape Cod and New England their home.

Admission to the gift shop is free.
