Join Miriam Voros, a Cape Cod-based fluid artist known for incorporating Cape Cod ocean water into her abstract acrylic artwork, for a hands-on creative experience inspired by the beauty and movement of the sea.

Create your own unique set of two ocean-inspired coasters! You’ll explore the fascinating world of fluid acrylic painting and learn the flip-cup pouring technique to create beautiful patterns, flowing colors, and one-of-a-kind designs.

Bring your own ocean water collected from a special beach or coastline, or choose from Miriam’s selection of ocean waters collected from different Cape Cod beaches. Your chosen water will become part of the story behind your artwork, adding a personal connection to the ocean and the places you love.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll learn how to mix and pour your colors, experiment with movement and flow, and discover the magic of letting gravity guide your design. No two coasters will ever be exactly alike!

Please note: Your coasters require an extended drying and curing period and will not be available to take home on the day of the workshop. Once fully dried, Miriamwill carefully apply a protective finish to help protect your artwork from the heat of a cup. ✨

 Your finished coasters will be ready for pickup or shipping (additional fee applies) in time for Christmas—perfect to gift or enjoy at home during the holidays!

No previous painting experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and, if you wish, a little piece of the ocean that means something to you!

What to wear: Fluid painting can get messy! Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting paint on, or bring an apron to protect your clothes during the workshop.
