The Sandwich Glass Museum welcomes the talented

"Mostly Dickens" Carolers

Come get into the holiday spirit and stop by the Sandwich Glass Museum on Sunday afternoon to enjoy the cheery caroling of the Cape Cod Chorale's "Mostly Dickens Carolers" on our front porch.

Come inside to enjoy the warmth of our museum and see the beautiful forest of trees decorated by our local glass blowers.

Offered as part of the Sandwich Village Stroll.

The 2024 Annual Appeal is in Full Swing

Being awesome takes energy (check!), enthusiasm (check!), and and, of course, support from our amazing donors! Yay!!

Invest your charitable funds locally this year by donating to the Sandwich Glass Museum.

2024 has been an exciting and vibrant year so far! We’ve ushered over 30,000 people through our doors, and our talented glass blowers have demonstrated over 2000 times. In addition, we introduced our new online Collections Archive, https://sandwichhistoricalsociety.org/, allowing collectors worldwide to search the Museum Collection for photos, documents, and other items of interest.

In order to continue to offer the uniquely engaging experience of watching live glassblowing, a variety of engaging and diverse events, and our new historical research tools that let you search our collections online,
we need your support.

Current Exhibits: "From the Makers' Hands" and "Nina Sutton"

Collections Curator Olivia Padula has put together a fascinating exhibit featuring the oft-overlooked individual contributions of the workers at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Factory.
She has also curated a collection of jewelry created by Nina Baer Sutton, an early 20th century artisan who transformed found fragments of Sandwich Glass into wearable art embodying the history of the Town of Sandwich.
