Gallery Attendant

Similar to a Docent, Gallery Attendants help create a welcoming environment by greeting visitors and providing basic information about exhibits. The role focuses on creating an engaging and welcoming experience while serving as an accessible source of information for museum visitors. This is a public facing role, best suited to people who love to share their passion about glass and history. The ability to stand or walk for extended periods during a shift is required. The need for museum attendants is at its most critical on days when we are expecting large groups. Flexible shifts (e.g., 3–4 hours per day or as scheduled) and a willingness to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with shifts varying according to visitor demand.
