To that end, we offer classes in the art of working with glass, both hot and cold, in an effort to teach the current generation about this ancient and beautiful art form.

Glass Experience
Experience the thrill of a lifetime: working with molten glass in our hands-on one-on-one "Glass Experience". Guided by an expert glass blower, you will make glass art and memories to treasure forever!
Glass Fusing Workshop
Feeling crafty? Come spend a happy two hours assembling two glass pendants from bits of colorful glass. Guided by an expert glass artist, this group class is the perfect way to explore your hidden artistic potential.
Kids Discover Glass Room
An Interactive Exhibit for Kids!
Step into the art and science of glassmaking!
Our newest permanent exhibit, the Discover GlassRoom, is a hands-on, interactive replica of the Sandwich Glass Museum’s own hot shop—designed especially for young explorers. Children of all ages can experience the magic of glassblowing through safe, simulated activities. Try out real tools, sit at the gaffer’s bench, and even press your own simulated glass cup plate.

About Us
The Sandwich Historical Society and its Glass Museum interprets and preserves the history of industrial glassmaking in the Town of Sandwich, educates the general public on the craft and art of working with glass, and promotes contemporary glass artists by selling their work in our Museum Gift Shop.
