Handcrafted Glass Pickle Christmas Tree Ornament

Hanging a Christmas pickle on your tree is a quirky and fun tradition where a pickle ornament is hidden among the branches and the first person to find it on Christmas morning gets a special reward, like an extra present or the honor of opening the first gift. While some believe it's a German tradition, it's more likely an American invention from the late 1800s, popularized by stores selling glass ornaments imported from Germany.
