Contemporary New England Glass Exhibit Changeover

Contemporary New England Glass Exhibit Changeover

It's May, which means we have a brand new installation featuring 5 fabulous new Vermont Glass Guild artists: Bob Dane, Randy Solis, Nick Kekic, Jen Violette, and Jeremy Sinkus.

Bob Dane, featured last year in our Heartbeats and Harmony exhibition, returns to the Sandwich Glass Museum with some of his signature masks.

As well as his beautiful and intricate glassware

Randy Solin is new to the Sandwich Glass Museum, and we're delighted to be featuring her work. She uses glass like a contemporary abstract expressionist painter. She has been working in glass for over 30 years. Her work has been collected, shown, and exhibited throughout the world.

Jen Violette returns to the Sandwich Glass Museum after a 2 year hiatus - her work was included in our All Creatures Great and Small exhibit - and we're just as charmed by her whimsical creations as when she was last featured here.

Nick Kekic, a 3rd generation glassblower, is new to the Sandwich Glass Museum.  His creations are elegant and bold.

Last but not least, we're delighted to welcome Jeremy Sinkus back to the Sandwich Glass Museum as a featured artist.

We encourage you to come admire these pieces and more in person in our Contemporary Gallery from May 5th through November 1st.
