Fancy Flowers Flamework Workshop (Hyannis)

Make something beautiful, one petal at a time! In this hands-on borosilicate workshop, you’ll learn how to shape individual petals, play with heat, and bring all the pieces together to create your own delicate glass flower.

You’ll practice flattening, shaping, and refining each petal before carefully reheating and assembling them into a bloom. Then comes the fun part: pulling a graceful, twisty stem that gives your flower a little movement and personality.

With a mix of technique, patience, and creativity, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind glass flower—and a new appreciation for what you can do with hot glass.

Safety & What to Expect

This class is held at our HyArts Campus Flamework Studio 

All participants must wear 100% cotton or linen clothing (no synthetic fabrics), along with closed-toe shoes. Long hair must be tied back securely before class.

Protective eyewear will be provided to help you safely view the flame and glowing glass during the workshop.

All pieces created during class must cool slowly in a kiln overnight to ensure durability and prevent cracking. Finished work will be available for pickup the following day.
