About Momo Glassworks

Momo Glassworks is the collaborative studio of Rosario Torres and Edo Mor, whose diverse backgrounds and shared passion for glass have shaped a distinctive artistic practice. Rosario, born in Tandil in Argentina’s Province of Buenos Aires, is a natural autodidact who learned the fundamentals of vitrofusión (glass fusing) in a neighbor’s workshop before developing an intuitive approach rooted in experimentation, improvisation, and innovation. Edo, born in Ramat Ha’Sharon, Israel, moved to the United States as a child and met Rosario while backpacking in Andalucía, Spain, beginning a personal and creative partnership that soon led them to work together in glass. Their experiences traveling and living across four continents are reflected in their work, which draws equally from the Old and New Worlds while embracing the freedom to explore imaginative and deeply personal inner landscapes. Through years of experimentation with glaze oxides, metals, minerals, and layered glass, Momo Glassworks has developed a process that transforms glass into a richly dimensional canvas where heat reveals unexpected reactions, textures, depth, and light. Today, Rosario and Edo create their work in Western Massachusetts, where their art continues to reflect their shared curiosity, global experiences, and willingness to let experimentation guide each piece.
