Artist Profile: Debbie Tarsitano

Debbie Tarsitano’s passions lie in creating work that goes beyond traditional glass, building a bridge to the greater world of art. She defines herself as a Multidisciplinary Artist. She loves mastering new materials and introducing them into her artwork.

A formally trained painter, Tarsitano bridges this gap by creating collages, a combination of cast glass, oil paint and other materials on canvas covered wood board. Messages are hidden within the work, placed there for the viewer to discover. Her work informs the viewer of how human emotions impact current events. They also serve as time capsules capturing how we live today.
