Like many glass artists will tell you, Peter stumbled upon his passion for glassblowing, finding his love in the unique and exciting medium. Originally trained as a photographer, Peter found his current job at the Sandwich Glass Museum Studio with zero experience but took to the art form quickly! For five years Peter apprenticed under David McDermott of McDermott Studio in Sandwich, MA, while also working full-time at the museum. Currently, Peter is the SGM Studio Manager and full-time glass artist, demonstrator and instructor. He has honed his skills throughout his eight years at the museum and is known for his impressive and efficient one-man-show – producing a large pumpkin or his signature whale tale in just a matter of minutes.
